Not babies anymore

The pups outgrew the baby pool and they’ve started to eat solid food. They needed a separation between sleeping space and potty space.

With some solid food in their stomachs they aren’t so frantic to nurse. And with dry bedding, Jane will spend a longer time nursing them and then sleeping with them.

Careful observation of the puppies’ behavior & Jane’s response, rather than an eye on the calendar, allows us to make developmentally appropriate changes to their environment.

We’ve added collars to monitor individual behavior; names are coming soon!
